The first step of the design process will be to select your patina and texture. A patina can be defined as the sheen that lies on the metal after we polish it. We can handcraft this sheen to a variety of color preferences based on your kitchen. You can choose a modern, monochromatic color to add a sleek look to your kitchen. If that doesn’t seem to be what you’re looking for, you can go warmer and create a more classic kitchen look.
Moving forward, you will select the width and height of your product. We do recommend that all stove hoods be installed approximately three feet above the cookspace. We also recommend that you consult your general contractor regarding the exact hood distance. Our client care team is also available to assist you throughout this process.
After you make those specifications, you will choose whether or not you would like a wall mount or island mount copper stove hood. Some people prefer to place their range against the wall in order to keep the heat away from the people sitting around the island. Still others prefer an island vent hood style as they feel it allows them to socialize more with those around them as they cook.
Additionally, any of our copper range hoods can be outfitted with straps and rivets to add dimension to the look of your final piece. This dimension will pull the design together to make your premier range hood more than just a functional appliance. Small details like these can transform your kitchen hood into a piece of art, to showcase in your kitchen.
Each World CopperSmith range hood is designed completely to order. This design will be submitted to you via virtual drawing so as to allow you to see what you will be receiving at the end of the transaction. If this drawing meets what you had been envisioning for your kitchen, then it will be sent to processing, where our team of artisans will create your one-of-a-kind, craftsman piece.
Note: Handmade products incur slight variances in tone, finish, and construction. These distinguishing characteristics are to be viewed as artistic elements of design, rather than defects.

We will accept returns on all in-stock items. Email us at email@example.com and our customer service team will provide you with a return of goods request. Custom and made-to-order products are not eligible to be returned.
Call our customer service department for clarification on product specific questions at 1-888-431-4677. You will be responsible for the cost to ship and insure the product back to us. The shipment of a return is to be independently arranged and covered by the customer. We are only able to accept returned items that are in-stock items, in original packaging and new condition. This means that products with any scratches, stains, damages, or modifications cannot be returned. A minimum 15% restocking fee applies to all returns.
We cannot, under any circumstances accept returns that have been installed. Please inspect your order the moment you receive it. If a product arrives damaged, please contact us right away so we can arrange for an exchange or return. Save all packing materials and your damaged item. To file a claim you must contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org within three (3) calendar days of delivery and our customer service team will assist you. Claims received in excess of three (3) calendar days beyond the delivery will not be accepted. Photographs must be clear and attached to your claim within three (3) calendar days. Please note that photographs are required to process damage claims and we will not be able to process your claim without photographs. Take photographs of the damaged item and packaging for your records, and e-mail a copy to email@example.com along with your damage claim information.
Orders canceled within 24 hours from the time of placement are subject to a 3% transaction fee. After the 24-hour window, orders will be subject to a minimum 10% administration fee without exception. AFTER 48 HOURS ALL SALES ARE FINAL meaning that all orders will not be eligible for cancellation.
Do not sign for damaged products. You must note the damages with the driver or shipping company at the time of delivery. If the package is damaged in transit, please refuse the delivery and SIGN THE DELIVERY RECEIPT AS DAMAGED.
We do not consider product variances as defects.
CopperSmith products are handmade from copper, and our warranty does not cover any patina, tarnish or color changes that may occur to the product. Improper cleaning or care of copper sealed products may result in patina changes or removal and are not subject to warranty claims. Any warranty claim will subject to shipping charges.
