The DS1 is a designer range hood featuring a sleek and stylish box design. You can customize this design in a variety of ways. Begin with selecting the patina, or metal finish, that you would like present in your kitchen. You can choose one that will match your metal hardware, or go in a completely different direction with something stunning and contrasting.
You can further customize this product by selecting the width and the height. World CopperSmith recommends that all copper kitchen hoods with a CFM of less than three hundred be installed twenty one to twenty seven inches over your cooktop. However, if you plan to install this in a wall or island mount capacity, then we recommend twenty seven to thirty six inches above your cooktop. The width of your range hood should be equal to or larger than the width of your cooktop, both for aesthetic and functionality’s sake.
Create Your Masterpiece
After you make your selection regarding size, it is time to determine whether you would like your kitchen range hood to be wall mounted or island mounted. You may opt to use this product as an island range hood rather than choosing to place it against a wall. Given the central location of most kitchen islands, this is a highly desirable option. Placing this custom range hood in the middle of your kitchen would allow extended ventilation throughout your kitchen, meaning that cooking smells and steam will dissipate into the air much more quickly than they would given different circumstances. This will allow you to cook all of your favorite dishes without having to commit to their lingering odors for hours after you’ve finished cleaning up from your meal.
You will then select whether or not you would like to add a pot rail. Given the hard to store nature of pots and pans, this seems like an obvious option for ensuring the option of additional space within your kitchen moving forward.
