Copper Range hoods are important for venting away all of the unwanted odors and gases that can fill your kitchen as the result of your cooking, even from the most talented chef. Even the simple act of frying an egg can produce gases and smells that linger in your kitchen for hours after breakfast is over. This does not have to be the case. In fact, when you choose to install the Classic CX9 in your home, it won't be the case. With a five-sided design, clipped corners, and sinuous curves, it will not only protect the air quality of your kitchen, but complement your design impeccably.
There are a few things to consider when purchasing your range hood. Firstly, you'll want to ensure there is enough space on the wall to mount this range hood above your cooking surface. Ideally, it should be positioned about thirty inches above the stovetop. Because this is a ducted range hood, that will allow your kitchen to maintain its high air quality, by removing all of the air from your home and placing it outside. Look for a hood that is as wide as your cooking surface, so that you can pull up every bit of air that you don't want to keep in your hoome.
There are four major technical questions that you need to ask yourself to ensure you purchase a kitchen range hood that is exactly to the specifications that you need it to be. First, you'll need to consider the thickness of the copper. Is it enough to stand the test of time? Many companies purport to make materials out of copper, but utilize such a thin layer of the metal that the final product can be easily dented, foiled, or scratched. With thicker metal comes sturdier material that has less waves and more solid construction. We utilize sixteen gauge rolled copper that can be attached directly to studs.
It's also important to ask whether your insert fan will fit. Because we make custom range hoods, we can make your range hood custom to the exact specifications of your insert fan. However, to be able to do that, we do need you or your contractor to provide us the exact specifications of your fan, so that we can ensure your needs are met.
What about installation? We're glad you asked. We recommend the use of a qualified professional. Although we do not offer installation services ourselves, our customer support team does remain on standby to answer the questions of your contractor at any time, to ensure that they are able to do their absolute best work.
The final question you need to ask is what size you should purchase. CopperSmith recommends that you review the detailed specifications on the product page, to ensure you are able to meet the technical specifications of the product. From there, you can select the design that makes the most aesthetic sense to you!
