This saute pan is perfect to cook a succulent chicken fricassee or coq au vin with its high sidewalls. They allow liquids to stay within the pan which you can use to braise meat or vegetables like eggplant and squash.
This medium sized saute pan has a diameter of 9” and is the most versatile in this series. You can make a delicious meal for you and your partner any day of the night! If you just cook for yourself, you’ll be sure to have amazing leftovers the day after. And if you are cooking for a large household, this saute pan will be one of many of your cookware tools that help bring a nutritious and delicious meal to the table.
Made with copper and stainless steel layers, these two metals work together to create the most efficient cooking environment within the pan. A super thick copper exterior, measuring 2.3 mm thick, efficiently absorbs heat from the stovetop which can move through the thick copper across the entire body of the saute pan. Then the interior stainless steel cooking layer which is very thin at .2 mm immediately transfers that heat to the food you’re cooking. Together, these two materials provide an efficient and safe cooking environment that is also easy to maintain and clean.
To keep all the heat and moisture in, use the sturdy copper lid that comes along with this saute pan. It has a strong and ergonomic cast iron handle that helps weigh the lid down and maintain a secure fit on your pan. This saute pan is designed with a durable cast iron handle that offers a sturdy grasp while you’re cooking. Whether you’re moving your pan around while you’re cooking or transporting it before or after you cook, the handle will become an extension of your hand in the most comfortable way.
