What makes a good cast iron chef pan? Chef pans are known for their adaptability in the kitchen, and are equally at home searing, roasting, frying and sauteing, making them a great choice for a piece of "all in one" cookware that's easy to use and dependable.
But when looking to buy a cast iron chef pan, it's important to note that it's the little features that can add up quickly to create an overall impression of quality and superior performance that lives up to the high standards of a chef's pan. Here's what to look for before you buy.
Cast iron has been traditionally used for centuries. Its excellence in leveraging and conserving heat while cooking is well-known around the world, and even today, there's something unique about the flavor and texture of food that has been cooked in an old fashioned iron skillet.
The unique design of this cast iron pan has been crafted to allow it to seal in maximum flavor and juiciness while making it easy to remove fat, grease and other drippings thanks to the flared spouts on the edges. A helper handle also makes it safer to maneuver the pan, so that it can go from stove top to table top with style. Once you try it for yourself, you'll see how a simple time-honored tradition can enjoy a prominent place in your kitchen.
One of the most outstanding features of this multi-use cook pan is its innovations in ease of use and quality. The interior has been coated with enamel to prevent scratching and scraping while a third layer of non-stick coating to help prevent food from sticking, saving you even more time and effort.
