This premium bird feeder is a stunning piece that could serve as the focal point in any yard or garden. Evocative of
an ancient Greek pavilion, this feeder will become the social center piece for a wide variety of feathered guests,
from blue jays and thrushes, to sparrows and wrens. The main body of the feeder is comprised of mango
hardwood, famed for both durability and beauty, painted a porcelain white. Arching supports sweep up to an
octagonal floor. Rising from the base are 8 proud, stylized columns supporting the ceiling above and enclosing the
clear reservoir within. Encircling the columns at their bases is an accent band of pure copper, shining with a crisp
sheen. Sitting atop the columns is an exquisitely hand-hammered bell-shaped dome of equally lustrous copper,
serving as the roof of the structure. Finishing the look at the pinnacle of the bell is a stately finial of hardwood,
painted the same snowy white.
Being not just a pretty piece, this premium bird feeder is designed with function in mind as well. The gorgeous
copper bell dome overhangs the structure and the floor is equipped with drainage holes, both working to help keep
the seed in the reservoir dry. The luster of the copper band around the columns is not just complementary, it also
works to keep seed from spilling out of the feeding area. The central plexiglass tube is a reservoir for seed and has
a generous capacity of 8 pounds. For simplicity in refilling the reservoir, the copper dome lifts off with ease.
The materials used for the crafting of this masterpiece have been selected for long life. Copper has long been
valued for its resilience in the face of weathering. Unlike with most other metals, copper reacts with water and
atmosphere by forming a lovely blue-green patina which, in turn, makes a layer of defense against further effects.
Mango hardwood is not known just for its appealing grain patterns and markings, but also for its incredible
durability. Standing at 33” tall and 18” across, this majestic structure will be a statement piece as well as a center
for congregation of your avian friends.
